Integrations
Is your agency or production company already planning your shows in a different tool? Instead of copying everything into TourLife by hand, TourLife can automatically import events from a number of external platforms:
Sync Settings are not available for every project by default. Get in touch and we'll enable the integration you need. Once enabled, you'll find a Sync Settings tab in the Admin panel.
How the sync works
- The sync is one way: events flow from the external platform into TourLife. Nothing is written back.
- TourLife syncs every night. Syncs for all projects are spread out between midnight and 05:00 (Brussels time).
- Information coming from the external platform, such as the title, date, status, type and timings, is updated on every sync. Edit those details in the external platform, not in TourLife, or your changes will be overwritten the next night.
- Everything you add in TourLife stays put: the roster, guestlist, hotels, flights, transport, files, messages, checklists, and timings you created yourself are never overwritten by the sync.
- Descriptions from the external platform are stored separately as Synced Information, so they don't overwrite the description you wrote in TourLife.
If a manual sync is enabled for your project, you'll find a Trigger Sync button at the bottom of the Sync Settings page to fetch the latest changes right away.
Setting up a sync
- Go to Admin → Sync Settings.
- Pick the external platform under Type.
- Fill in the credentials for that platform, see below. For most platforms, TourLife checks the credentials immediately and lets you know if they work.
- Choose what to sync, e.g. the tour, project or board.
- Toggle Enable sync and click Save Settings.
Some platforms only support signing in with an email address and password. TourLife needs to store that password to be able to run the sync every night. Make sure that password isn't used anywhere else! If the platform supports it, create a separate account for the integration.
