Calendar Sync

TourLife offers the ability to sync all events in the platform to your favorite calendar application, by offering a publicly available iCal feed. The iCal URL is personal and per band. You can find the iCal URL and all related calendar sync settings in your Personal Settings page. Let's take a look at how to set up the calendar sync!

Get the iCal URL

First, we should get the iCal URL so that we can import it in the calendar app we want to use. Navigate to to Personal Settings and copy the URL using the icon.

  1. In the next modal, you'll see a few options to name and configure the calendar you are importing. The 'Auto-refresh' interval should ideally be configured to 'Every day' to make sure you always have the latest state of affairs. Change any other settings as you like and click Ok to complete the setup. You should be good to go!

Calender on iOS

Integrating TourLife into your iOS Calendar app is very similar to the macOS approach. The official Apple documentation can be found here.

Google Calendar

Configuring TourLife to sync to Google Calendar is something that can only be done using a browser (as per the Google documentation). The iOS or Android apps don't allow a user to add a new calendar subscription.

The following steps should help you get set up as fast as possible:

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left, next to 'Other calendars' click the plus icon and choose 'From URL'.
Google Calendar
  1. Enter the TourLife iCal URL you obtained as per these instructions.
  2. Click Add calendar. The calendar appears on the left, under "Other calendars."

Google notes it might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar. The interval at which Google refreshes our events is unfortunately out of our control. If you don't see the changes sync to your Calendar, get in touch and we'll help you get set up!

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft Outlook also supports subscribing to the iCal feed TourLife provides. The official documentation is the best place to get started!
